OUR STORY

Marella started as a collection in 1976 and became an independent company in 1988. Italian clothing and accessory brand, Marella offers glamorous, contemporary, female fashion for all occasions. Merging the latest trends with Italian style, products are designed with the dynamic and style-conscious woman in mind, offering a wide range of coats, jackets, blouses, dresses, footwear, handbags, and much more. The challenge was to develop the potential of the collection to create a new and virtuous product-market-service process in the world of women’s ready-to-wear.

Marella is always searching for innovative ways to cater for the dynamic and modern women who want to like themselves and be liked.

Over the span of ten years, the highly entrepreneurial vision, market orientation, lean organization, and teamwork operation have made Marella a strong force that offers the international market a complete range of products comprising seven different collections.

Early on, particular attention was given by the entire corporate organization to the innovative development of distribution: in 1995 a project was launched to create flagship stores supported by the quick supply of updated products in season.

With 40 years of experience, the Italian brand has consolidated its position on the market as a highly professional company based on the culture of the product and is always careful to maintain a quality-price balance for its customers.

Today, Marella is an autonomous, complete, and well-articulated reality within the Max Mara Fashion Group: the ‘Marella World’ is born.

Every season, other collections are presented alongside the main line: Tricot to underline the pleasure of wearing knitwear, the Sport collection dedicated to leisure time, and the Accessori (accessories) line to personalize one’s look.
